The General Management of the Market for African Performing Arts is pleased to inform you that a press conference will be organized on Friday June 23, 2017 at 15h30 at its main office located in Abidjan – Plateau.
This press conference will cover the activities of the MASA 2018 , the call for applications for groups artistic launched since November 2016 and the participation of American and Caribbean groups in the next edition of the MASA.
This edition of MASA will be held from 10 to 17 March 2018 in Abidjan. The theme is: » Which business models for the performing arts? (Groups, concert halls and festivals) ». This edition, the 10th to be more precise, will see the participation of one hundred (100) artistic groups from Africa, America, Asia and Europe. Six disciplines will be represented: storytelling, dance, stand-up comedy, music, theater and street arts. About 2,000 festival-goers are expected, including artists, broadcasters and journalists from around the world.
