Notorious creative entrepreneur, expert in art and culture management, Mamou Daffé fights for culture and local development. He is very interested in the links between cultural and economic spheres.
In 2005, he founded the Festival on Niger, a project aimed at enhancing cultural expressions while stimulating the Malian economy through art. The Festival on Niger has helped bring together economic players from municipalities and the region within the Council for the Promotion of Local Economy (CPEL), the first experience in taking charge of local economic development by local actors , created in 2006.
In 2011, he created the Kôrè Cultural Center, a sub-regional reference center and the IKAM training institute for the development of art professions and the development of artists and cultural actors from Mali and elsewhere. Mr. Mamou Daffé is the president of the Fondation Festival on Niger and a member of the selection committee of MASA since 2014.
