The group AFRICA UNITED is one of the many successful formations of their participation in MASA. Here is the recognition of Fahad Bastos, vocal leader of the Moroccan group.

This is the second time that you participate in the MASA festival, what do you think of it?
MASA is an important cultural event in Africa, bringing together hundreds of artists from many countries around the world. We have a good impression on this event because we exchanged and shared our experiences with professionals from all over the world. The group attended one of the best editions of the Market, in 2018 and we are happy for the African continent and especially for Côte d’Ivoire.

What is your assessment after your participation in the last two editions of MASA?  
The balance sheet for us is positive, it allowed us to express our talent without forgetting the many opportunities available to us.
We also do not lose sight of the spin-offs in terms of new opportunities we have had. It should be emphasized, we have benefited a lot from MASA. Indeed, already at our first participation in 2016, we had rewarding meetings and opportunities that propelled our career. The MASA allowed us to be selected for the Visa For Music   , Summer music festival in Rabat , a program at   Abi Reggae Festival of Abidjan , as well as   Tangier Womaaf Festival   and a European tour.

What to say, the MASA is a must event for the artists of the different art categories of the continent. We would like to express our gratitude to the entire MASA team and all those artists, managers and turners who have trusted us.
