On the 25 september of 2019 the general director of MASA, Prof. Yacouba Konaté and his team received a Canadian delegation composed of Ms. Sabra Ripley, Canada Council’s International Partnership and Coordination Officer, and Mr. Vincent Gagnon, West Africa Executive Officer and Central to Global Affairs Canada and Ms. Hawa Ouattara-Koffi, Public Affairs Officer of the Canadian Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire.
The purpose of this first meeting was to introduce both parties the Canada’s outstanding participation in MASA 2020 as a guest of honor.
The MASA is a cultural platform for promoting African Performing Arts. Its main objectives are : To Support creativity and good quality productions, To facilitate the movement of artists and their works within Africa and throughout the world, To train artists and key professionals in the production field, To promote African Performing Arts.
