Official list of groups selected for the MASA Zone street arts 2022.
From November 10 to 11, 2021, the International Artistic Committee (IAC) of MASA met in Abidjan to select the artists for the MASA Street Arts Zone of the 12th edition of MASA which will take place from March 5 to 12, 2022 in Abidjan around the theme: Cultural and creative industries: the challenge of content.

The CAI has studied 186 applications received at MASA headquarters in one of the following ways: via the website, by physical deposit or by mail.

The applications came from the following countries, among others: Algeria, Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, United States, France, Gabon, Guinea, Haiti, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Chad, Togo, Tunisia…

At the end of its work, the IAC selected :

– 14 artistic groups in music;
– 3 in visual arts
– 2 in fashion;
– 1 in dance.
In total, 20 artists or artistic groups from 9 countries were selected for the MASA Street Arts Zone.

MASA’s executive management thanks the members of the IAC for their professionalism and availability.
The MASA General Management and the IAC thank all the applicants for their interest in MASA and the quality of the artistic proposals.

The MASA General Management presents its warm congratulations to the selected groups. It invites them to make the necessary arrangements (transportation, visa and health formalities) for their effective presence at MASA 2022.
