From December 11 to 13, 2024, the MASA International Artistic Committee (CAI) held its technical meeting in Abidjan in preparation for the 13th edition of MASA, which will take place from April 13 to 20, 2024 in Abidjan, around the theme: YOUTH, INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: levers for the development of the African performing arts industries. The 22 members of the International Artistic Committee (CAI) examined 1,599 applications from 39 countries, which were registered on the application platform.
At the end of its work, the CAI selected: 20 artistic groups in music, 06 in theater, 14 in contemporary dance, 06 in slam, 06 in comedy, 12 in circus and puppetry, 05 in storytelling.
A total of 69 artists and artistic groups from 22 countries were included in the official selection.
