The Mandingue Circus at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris, from December 26, 2018 to January 05, 2019

Acrobatics, contortion, dance, live music: the Mandingo Circus of Guinea has everything planned to delight the public of the Cabaret Sauvage, in Paris 19th, from December 26 to January 5, 2019. They will present for the end of the 2018 holiday season a new show, « Tana Mou Ri? « . This show deals with the theme of migration. Indeed, it tells the hidden story of these tens of thousands of men and women who try adventure at the risk of their lives. A moment full of emotions, humor and circus athletic performance.
The Mandingo Circus and the MASA, a story.
Originally from Guinea Conakry,  »Cirque Mandingue » (mandingo circus) is a circus troupe made up of a dozen artists, both acrobats and dancers. Worn by its eldest, Yamoussa Camara also called Junior, the young troop has invented, with strength and talent, training since childhood on the beaches of Conakry, its open top. These street children of Conakry have become over the years one of the most prominent troops of the rich scene of Guinean circus artists. « These are young orphans that I recruited in the street or on the beach and I want to bring them to a real international level in the art of circus, » says Junior, the head of the troop and former acrobat at Circus Baobab .
The Mandingo Circus is a unique concept. Both a traditional and modern dance troop, a musical troop with dancers-percussionists and circus acrobats, it perpetuates the acrobatics tradition of the Peulhs Nyamakala of Middle Guinea.
Their participation in the last three editions of  MASA is undoubtedly a milestone of their course. « At MASA we expect to meet people who can help us with production, promotion and distribution, because I’m already doing everything, » explains Junior as they leave MASA 2014. Today the troop has various shows in France and in the all of Europe.
