This Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the headquarters of the Abidjan Market for performing Arts (MASA), the Technical Inspector of the Ministry of Culture and Francophonie, Williams KOUAME, representing Madam Lucie DAGRI, Inspector General of this Ministry, proceeded with the installation of Madam Chantal DJEDJE, cultural expert, appointed as the new Deputy Director General of MASA following decision number 002/MASA PCA of March 9, 2023 appointing the Deputy Director General of MASA.

Chantal Djédjé holds a Professional Master’s degree in Communication and Information from the University of Aix-en-Provence in France. She started her career in communications as a key account manager at the McCann Erickson marketing communications agency.
For the past 20 years, she has been working in the Cultural and Creative Industries sector (Madagascar, Senegal and France). On her return to Côte d’Ivoire, she was appointed communications advisor to the Ministry of Waters and Forests, bringing her expertise to the public sector. In parallel with her role at the Ministry, Madam Djédjé founded La Fabrique Culturelle, an independent organization dedicated to promoting arts and culture in Côte d’Ivoire. She is also behind the circus festival « Les Rencontres Interculturelles du Cirque d’Abidjan (RICA) », which has become a benchmark on the African continent. In addition to her skills in communications, marketing and management, Madame Djédjé is also a writer, film-maker and cultural entrepreneur.
Her commitment and talent have been recognized by the State of Côte d’Ivoire, which awarded her the second Prize for excellence in 2016
